Reno Rebellion​

Thesis Project - A company that supports non-profits in Reno, NV through funding and design. Two major reasons non-profits fail are inadequate funding and a lack of understanding of how to reach their community. Funding keeps the doors open, but strong design is what brings people in. Community support greatly increases a non-profit’s chance of long-term survival. Reno Rebellion provides these organizations with the tools they need to achieve exactly that.

Design Thinking: The goal was to keep this design professional, clean, and simple. The blue color palette aligns with the colors of Reno, Nevada, emphasizing that this is a local company supporting local non-profits. Even though the brand is meant to be minimal and clean, that doesn’t mean it should lack style. In the word “Rebellion,” the R and N are reversed as if they are rebelling against the other letters—adding a touch of drama and expression to an otherwise simple logo. I carried the sharp, angular aesthetic throughout the brand and used the N to create a pattern, which appears across various brand assets.
